Synopsis
Wake up, Beijing. Wake up, rock and roll.
In the summer of 1990, Toru, a drummer in a popular rock band, is disappointed by the commercialism of Japanese music and goes off to China by himself. In Beijing, where music is strictly regulated by the state, he encounters real rock music and real love that shakes his soul. This is a coming-of-age ensemble drama about young people devoted to the Chinese underground rock scene!
