AnimeHunt

Takedown procedure

Draft for legal review. Version 2026-10-01.

AnimeHunt lists information about anime and manga and links to where they can be read or watched. We do not host the works. If a listing infringes your copyright, trademark or privacy rights, tell us using the form below.

What to include

  1. Your name, email and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
  2. The links on AnimeHunt you are reporting.
  3. A description of the original work and, where possible, links to it.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.
  6. Your electronic signature (typed name).

What happens next

  • We acknowledge complete notices and typically unlist the reported listing while we review.
  • We inform the person who made the listing and tell them how to file a counter-notice.
  • If a valid counter-notice is received and no court action follows within the applicable period, the listing may be restored.
  • We keep records of notices and counter-notices.

Content hosted elsewhere

If the problem is the work itself on another platform (WEBTOON, Tapas, YouTube, a personal site), please also notify that platform; we can only act on listings here.

Misuse

Knowingly false notices may make you liable for damages. Notices sent for harassment are ignored and may lead to suspension.
