Data sources

AnimeHunt does not host anime or manga. Catalog metadata comes from the sources below, each used under its own licence or terms. Cover images are referenced from their original hosts.

• anime-offline-database (manami-project)

  Licence: Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0 + Database Contents License (DbCL) v1.0

  Anime metadata and cross-references are derived from the anime-offline-database by the manami-project, made available under the ODbL. Our derived database is likewise available under the ODbL on request.

• AniList

  Licence: AniList API Terms of Use

  Descriptions, genres, tags, cover images and schedule data for some titles are provided by the AniList API. This site is not affiliated with AniList.

• MyAnimeList, Kitsu, Anime-Planet (user-initiated imports)

  Licence: Fetched only at a user's request to import their own list

  List imports read a user's own public list from MyAnimeList, Kitsu or Anime-Planet when the user asks for it. No catalog data is copied from these sites.
