Suna no Kinjitou(1984)

As the year came to an end, the man at the bar in the end of the street was looking at a TV showing the annual music awards. This year's grand prize had just been awarded to Ayuka Misaki. This man, Shuntaro Seo, had been her manager until three years ago, and had devoted himself to nurturing the singer with all his heart and soul. Three years ago, after an incident, Seo lost his position as a manager and everything else, and was now living like a stray dog sniffing for scraps. He had no idea that he was about to face a new battle... A former talent-manager who dropped out, a failed pop composer, and a girl who will put her life on the line to become a star. A masterful feature-length drama that vividly captures the dark side of the entertainment industry!
